Our client was charged with and found guilty of human trafficking from Europe into the UK. The case was notable as, unlike most cases of this nature, all of those brought into the country successfully claimed political asylum. None were economic migrants.

Illegal European immigrants were given fake documentation to suggest they had come from countries recently joining the European Union.
A crime group organised the illegal immigration to Canada of people from India, in a scheme that involved the group recruiting customs officials.
